Escape From Hooved Man

Fat Tire Bike Adventure

February 15 & 17, 2020

Ride your fat tire bike through the wilderness of the Saskatchewan River Delta. The

first stage of the event is February 15 and covers an 18 km ride to our cabins. We will share

an early evening meal and recover just in time for the second stage. The second stage of the

event is the  25 km night ride to the Hooved Man Mountain (this stage is optional). After our late Saturday night

ride, we will enjoy a sauna, some food and storytelling of how we felt escaping from the

Hooved Man! Sunday is a funday of easy going trail riding and sauna time. On monday, February 17, riders will make the 18km return ride to their vehicle and be on their way home!

When: We will meet at our trail head that is situated 43.8 km past E.B. Campbell Dam, on

Highway #123, 1:00 Saturday February 15, 2020. The expedition begins around 1:00. If you

are late, park your vehicle and follow the trail to our cabins.

Where: Approximately 400km northeast of Saskatoon, drive past Nipawin turn on Highway

#123. Drive 43.8 km past E.B. Campbell Dam on Highway #123. On the left hand side of the

highway drive 100 meters into the woods and park your car for the night.

Equipment to Bring: This is an unaided wilderness expedition and as such you are

responsible for your own snacks, water, cold weather clothing, headlamp (for night run),

first aid kit, and fat tire bike. If you want to stay the night in one of our woodheated

cabins you are welcome, you can camp as well if you are brave. Blankets, towels and food are provided. You are responsible for the transportation of you and your equipment to and from your vehicle to our cabins. (We will have a snowmobile to transport limited amount of extra gear).
